Wasting Time
I waste most of my time playing PlayStation 3. There's a new game that came out NCAA Football 10. Very realistic, game play is awesome. I usually end up starting a dynasty which is when you are the head coach of a team and you have to do everything. You have to recruit high schoolers, red shirt players, keep players happy, make sure players keep their grades up, and most importantly you got to win football games. The dynasty mode can go up to 50 years as long as you keep wining Championships. Otherwise, you can get fired.
Just a fun game to kill time when you got nothing to do.

Fun of Coaching
While I've been sick, the one of things I was still passionate about was Football. In the spring of 2007, I had one of my old coaches give me opportunity to coach running backs at Abbeville High. I thoroughly enjoyed it, I mean I had a blast. After that season, I was sold that this what I wanted to do. hopefully, I can teach PE and continue to coach running backs, this time at a high school in Houston so I'm closer to treatment
My Cancer Story
I just realized that I talk about my sickness but with no background it hard to see all the stuff I've been through.
Lets be real Cancer sucks, I'm no hero I just do what I got to. I was first diagnosed in Sept., 2002. I had a cough that lingered for a few months after a while I went and got a chest X-ray. There was a mass in my chest that wasn't supposed to be there. The next day I went home and had a biopsy done to see what we were dealing with. My doctor told me the I had Hodgkin's, I said what's that? He told me is was very curable cancer and we can do this, I said OK lets do it. It was very scary to be told that you have cancer. I did treatment in New Orleans for 6 months and at that point it was determined that I needed a bone marrow/stem cell transplant so I went to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. I ended up doing 2 transplants, one with my cells and another with my brother's cells. the second transplant worked for about 2 years cause I was treatment free. Unfortunately, in Jan 2006 my cancer came back and I been doing treatment ever since. I'm on my 16th different treatment trying to find something that will work along with miles and miles of travel on I-10.
I've had a positive attitude through most of it, that is not to say that I don't have my weaker moments as well. I say "it is what it is and you cant do anything to change it, but fight the fight and hopefully I'll be in remission." One Day

Another Long Tuesday
On Tuesday, I was supposed to get a simple blood draw and an EKG done, total time maybe 30 minutes. That turned into another 9 hr day. My red cells were low and I needed to 2 pints of blood which took a while. Looking forward to this Tuesday where its going to be another 8 hr day. Laying in a bed and getting blood draws every hour. The life a Cancer patient.
